Role Summary
This role resides within a creative, driven and entrepreneurial team within Enterprise Applications Technology Office / GTM Operations.
You will work alongside other leaders and teammates to drive a user Content strategy that helps customers and internal account teams understand how Splunk products and services will translate to business outcomes.
If you are a professional, experienced in content marketing strategy, the management of day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and reporting on the results of each content marketing initiative this role is right for you.
We are looking for a candidate who is an established, polished writer and marketer with previous experience in crafting expertly informed content, ideally within the B2B and / or B2C SaaS space with the primary goal of communicating information effectively and efficiently and crafting a positive experience for our users.
What you'll get to do
- Develop and complete a comprehensive awareness content strategy across various groups that aligns all parties to an unusual vision of customer value
- Generate content resources that help align our customers and account teams to discover and measure the value our customers get from Splunk.
- Work with designers, product marketing, sales, customer success and other industry experts to build content
- Make iteration decisions based on user feedback, metrics, accessibility practices, and usability findings
- Build content taxonomies that align with Product Marketing initiatives
Must-have Qualifications
- 10 years experience and at least 5+ years leading content strategy and / or execution programs
- Hands-on experience managing content programs ideally for internal and external facing documentation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including editing and proofing copy and the ability to visualize content in other mediums
- Experience in researching and interviewing sources on original topics and using insights to advise a content strategy
- Ability to identify and supervise relevant community metrics that quantify the impact and advise a roadmap for content strategy programs
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment, with the capacity to adapt to changing project needs
