Nurse Practitioner
As a patient-focused Gastroenterology group, who has been in practice for over 40 years, our goal is to enhance the health and well-being of people through patient care and education.
Success in this mission requires a culture of collaboration, excellence, leadership, and respect. We are in search of a *Nurse Practitioner *who can perform in a high volume and fast paced environment, one who will enhance our mission, care for our patients and help grow our practice.
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform assessments and provide treatment to patients of the clinic.
- Keep scheduled hours for extended clinic coverage during days and evenings. Work hours to remain flexible according to the needs of clinic expansion.
- Meet or exceed productivity requirements as set forth by the Executive Leadership Team.
- Develop and maintain clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for patient treatment.
- Remain available by phone during regularly schedule hours should assistance be required.
- Assist in the review and development of patient education material.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a program for clinical quality assurance.
- Attend staff meetings and committees as directed and punctually.
- Other Duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS :
Current license with the state of California.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- Bilingual English / Spanish speaking required.
- Must has at least 1-2 years GI experience.
- Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
- Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.
- Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
- Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management alike.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
