Nurse Practitioner

As a patient-focused Gastroenterology group, who has been in practice for over 40 years, our goal is to enhance the health and well-being of people through patient care and education.

Success in this mission requires a culture of collaboration, excellence, leadership, and respect. We are in search of a *Nurse Practitioner *who can perform in a high volume and fast paced environment, one who will enhance our mission, care for our patients and help grow our practice.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform assessments and provide treatment to patients of the clinic.
• Keep scheduled hours for extended clinic coverage during days and evenings. Work hours to remain flexible according to the needs of clinic expansion.
• Meet or exceed productivity requirements as set forth by the Executive Leadership Team.
• Develop and maintain clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for patient treatment.
• Remain available by phone during regularly schedule hours should assistance be required.
• Assist in the review and development of patient education material.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a program for clinical quality assurance.
• Attend staff meetings and committees as directed and punctually.
• Other Duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS :

Current license with the state of California.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• Bilingual English / Spanish speaking required.
• Must has at least 1-2 years GI experience.
• Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
• Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.
• Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
• Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and management alike.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
