As a Business Development Representative, you will :

This is a Sales position that will support the Regional Sales team in marketing and selling our roofing service throughout the Oregon and Washington Regions.

It is designed to be a minimum (2) year program, with the goal of growing and promoting this individual. This individual will be given a a company car with the expectation of being on the road 50-60% of the time.

  • Research potential customers and perform cold calls on targeted potential clients.
  • Market company features, benefits and success stories through social media platforms as LinkedIn and X (Twitter)
  • Introduce prospects the company features and benefits
  • Call prospects and set appointments for intro calls and meetings.
  • Organize customer and prospecting events for each office in the Mid-Central region
  • Follow up on old as well as existing proposals with clients and prospects
  • Assist the regional sales team with their Top 50 Target Account efforts
  • Research market dynamics and industries to help from effective marketing programs
  • Join and get involved in appropriate networking organizations to market / highlight our unique service offering
  • Organize and participate in select trade shows that fit our customer profile
  • Learn and participate in the company’s estimating and proposal writing programs
  • Perform joint calls with various Regional Sales staff
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with Super Regional Reps and National Accounts team as appropriate to develop new Opportunities / Customers for each
  • Attain monthly activity goals set by regional sales management.
  • Learn and gain proficiency in all responsibilities associated with regional sales role.
  • Work with Super Regional Rep on possible targets to grow our Super Regional Account Business

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Past sales or marketing (lead generating) experience preferred
  • Must show positive work ethic and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be well organized with solid time management skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Good relationship building and networking skills
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Must have Drivers License with clean DMV record
  • Perform travel (including overnight) as needed within the Rocky Mountain Region

Salary : $60-70K / year + Commission

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
