Electrical - Controls Engineer Opportunity!
A local manufacturer is seeking an Electrical-Controls Engineer to lead the design, modernization, and installation oversight of control systems for industrial specialty equipment.
As Electrical-Controls Engineer, the focus is on developing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.

Electrical-Controls Engineer Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years of experience programming and troubleshooting automation equipment and related controls in a profession setting, with preference being given to experience in manufacturing / production environments
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with I&E / control system emphasis), or equivalent experience is required.
- Proficiency with PLCs and automation practices is required.
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal / S7 and Rockwell RSlogix5000 is preferred.
- Familiarity with FactoryTalk, WinCC and / or Wonderware InTouch HMI systems is preferred.
- The ability to apply engineering principles to solve design problems is essential.
- The capacity to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.
- Willingness to travel for project support is expected.
- Excellent communication and computer skills are required.
Electrical-Controls Engineer Responsibilities :
- PLC-based automation control systems are designed and deployed, integrating motion control, sensors, VFD drives, and actuators.
- Ongoing support for existing systems is provided, troubleshooting and ensuring seamless functionality.
- Level 1 control systems are programmed based on function descriptions and layouts.
- Collaboration with project teams, internal experts, and customers to engineer solutions for technical challenges.
- Comprehensive testing and simulation of systems are conducted prior to delivery.
- On-site commissioning and training sessions are executed as required.
