Sr. Program Manager

This position is for responsible for managing project delivery for Enterprise-wide Cyber Security projects in a complex and cross functional environment.

This project team is comprised of several departments, has high visibility, aggressive schedules, and requires negotiation skills to balance the needs of the project and its stakeholders.

Projects will relate to Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity Governance. These programs utilize CyberArk and SailPoint and have implications that impact associated enterprise-wide systems, applications, networks, and telecommunication / product devices.

This project is multi-tiered and is comprised of several, smaller projects that can span multiple years. This position will manage work utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes, and procedures.

These projects have a clear start / end date; specific manpower resource allocations; budgets and are clearly identified as a "project" by the business.

This position requires competency in customer focus, change management & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

This is a Senior level role responsible for managing and driving all aspects of the program. This position sets expectations and establishes processes for all teams within the program including CyberArk Engineers, Business Analysts and Project Coordinators.

This position will work closely with the Senior Executive Account Manager and PAM to ensure alignment of program strategy and goals.

This position is client facing the ideal candidate will possess both the technical skills to manage the program as well as the communication and interpersonal skills necessary to lead meetings, manage agendas and present / report on the program in formal settings to executive leadership

Key Responsibilities :

Program Planning and Strategy :

  • Develop and implement program plans, including setting objectives, defining roles, and establishing timelines.
  • Align program objectives with organizational goals and strategies.

Project Coordination :

  • Coordinate multiple projects within the program to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage dependencies and resolve conflicts among projects.
  • Is responsible for complex dashboard and reporting utilizing Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Jira, and PowerBI

Stakeholder Management :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.

Resource Management :

  • Allocate resources across projects, ensuring optimal use of personnel, budget, and technology.
  • Identify and address resource gaps.

Risk Management :

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and control risks throughout the program lifecycle.

Performance Tracking and Reporting :

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to track program performance.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Team Leadership and Development :

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project managers and team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Quality Assurance :

  • Ensure that all projects within the program adhere to quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience :

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong background in project management, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 5 8 years of formal Project Management work experience.
  • Must be proficient and have experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS Project and Visio.
  • Must have experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, creating dashboards and reports utilizing Jira and Power BI.

Preferred Certifications :

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP)

Work Environment :

  • Typically works in an office setting.
  • May require occasional travel to meet with stakeholders or attend conferences.
  • Must be onsite in Kansas City metro area

Additional Considerations :

  • A Program Manager must be adaptable and capable of handling changing priorities.
  • Strong negotiation skills can be beneficial for managing stakeholder expectations and securing necessary resources.
