Field Crane Technician - *Hiring Bonus*

MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks.

This position reports to the Service Manager.

• Candidates hired for this role will receive a $3,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year.

Relocation assistance may also be available to those who qualify.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes.
• Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
• Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic / Technician preferred.
• Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes;

Manitowoc EPIC and / or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.

• Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.
• Must have excellent communication skills with a customer / client focus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

This is a full-time position with typical working hours between 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.
