Nature of Work :
The goal of this program is to teach students or recent grads how to activate and maintain successful partnerships with corporate sponsors of Ball Arena, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth and Colorado Rapids.
This will be done through assisting in research, in-market and in-game promotions, special events, game day operations and outstanding client relationships.
Interns will be part-time employees, scheduled for a maximum of 29 hours per week.
Examples of work performed :
- Assist in planning, setting up & executing partnership events and activations
- Executes game day responsibilities as assigned on the game day checklist
- Help execute partner activations and ensure proof of performance on game and event nights
- Meet or shadow with other departments of KSE (Game Operations, Marketing, Ticket Sales, Event Management, Community Relations, Box Office, IT or Human Resources)
- Assist the Activation Team in creating mid-season and end of season recaps and reports for clients
- Assists in researching prospective sponsorship clients and building sponsorship proposals
- Assists in tracking sponsored elements on social media and broadcast

Qualifications
- Students in established major going into 3rd or 4th year of college education, grad student or recently graduated, required.
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
Performance Requirements / Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple departments
- Able to work all assigned office hours and game nights from January through May
Internship Requirements
- All Colorado Interns are required to attend all KSE Internship Program hosted events that occur during business hours. If unable to attend due to work, school or unforeseen circumstance, the Intern must inform the Internship Program Committee.
- All Interns are required to participate in the KSE Mentorship Program by meeting with assigned Mentor in person or virtually at least for the initial meet-up.
Compensation
Base Salary : $18.81 / hr.
