TITLE : Senior Software Developer
LOCATION : Maryland Heights, Missouri
JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the support, troubleshooting, and development of Spectrum Mobile buyflows and enterprise level web services for backend.
Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams on problem resolution, defects, design issues, and upgrades. Independently code, test, and debug new software or make enhancements to existing software.
Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-and desktop-based business applications.
Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Package and support deployment of releases. Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies and procedures. Maintain good relations with peers, team, other organizations and vendors.
Be part of an effective front line Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports to drive a high-performance culture and environment.
EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
4 years of experience utilizing Java and J2EE to design, code, develop, and test applications; utilizing Oracle SQL to handle large data and perform different database operations;
and utilizing Microservices to build applications. 3 years of experience utilizing Spring MVC, including HTTP oriented Java Platform with Spring, to build and develop Enterprise Web applications.
A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available.
