POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Makes independent value judgments when supervision is not available.
- Assumes responsibility for achieving quality work, setting up patient load and maintaining schedules.
- Has individual responsibility for specified CT procedures.
- Performs assigned duties promptly and efficiently.
- Complies with instructions from the supervisor to whom responsible.
- Maintains good working relationship with co-workers and other University Health System employees, patients, doctors, and guests.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, and Licensed by the State of Texas (MRT) is required.
- One year of experience as a registered radiology technologist with a working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is preferred.
