Summary :
Our client specializes in the sale of used furnaces and other heat treat equipment. They are looking for an Electrical Technician to their team.
In this role this person would be responsible for the electrical wiring and maintenance of the organizations heat treat equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Capable of running and bending Rigid conduit for proper wiring installation
- Familiarity with running and terminating wiring from the control panel to the equipment
- Ability to diagnose and debug issues in existing equipment for efficient resolution
- Lay-out a standard control panel, install all components, and terminate wiring for panel.
- Run and terminate wiring from control panel to equipment.
- Debug existing equipment.
Qualifications :
- Basic understanding of PLC logic and ladder logic systems to support equipment functionality
- Proven experience in electrical work, particularly in an industrial setting
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
- Trade certification or equivalent experience in electrical work
- Proficient in electrically wiring a variety of industrial equipment, with a focus on heat treat machinery
- Experience with 3-phase control wiring and knowledge of industry best practices
- Skilled in the layout, installation, and termination of components in control panels
