We have a Heavy Equipment Mechanic position available out of Blue Island, Illinois. This is a fleet maintenance role with a proven multi-location outfit that has been an industry leader for close to 20 years.
The Gig :
- Maintain off-highway heavy equipment & diesel machinery - loaders, large material handlers, forklifts, cranes, shredders, bobcats and other support equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel systems.
Compensation :
- $25.00 - $30.00 / hour to start. Flexibility for higher starting pay based on experience.
- Benefits include : Medical, dental, vision, paid life insurance, 401K matching, vacation, and paid holidays.
Shifts :
- Day shift, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm (Monday to Friday).
- OT and some Saturdays.
Qualifications :
- Five years of prior experiencing troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment.
- Your own tools / tool box.
- Ability to pass background checks.
