Job Description :
Direct the work performed by the quality technicians. Establish and direct daily activities as well as assigning projects and monitoring progress.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable ISO, UL, CSA, Industry, and special customer requirements.
- Responsible for daily application of the Quality Management System such as Corrective Action System, Document Control, Calibration, Training etc.
- Lead quality improvement efforts using problem solving tools to resolve quality issues and achieve stable and predictable process results.
8D and DMAIC problem solving experience a plus)
- Assist in the development of projects relative to error proofing, process aids and continuous improvement.
- Collect and analyze production and defect data to perform various Quality related studies.
- Assist in the training and development of personnel relative to defect root cause analysis
- Work in various software platforms. SAP, Advaris, QCBD, etc.
- Create Quality Test Plans in Advaris
- Work with suppliers on Quality Issues.
- Provide hands-on assistance to manufacturing departments in resolving quality problems.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes that assure product quality through researching manufacturing methods and statistical analysis
Desirable Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or Physical Sciences
ASQ CQE or ability to obtain ASQ CQE within two years.
Experience : 3 - 7 years of quality experience which demonstrates the following :
Microsoft office especially Excel experience is needed
ISO 9001 : 2015 training
SAP, UL, CSA, and Lean experience is a plus
