We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our consulting team to provide project services to our Fortune 24 Healthcare Insurance client.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients’ migration of an internal claims application to AWS, utilizing streaming technology.

Responsibilities :

Work with a consulting team and internal employees to assist in designing, implementing, and managing the migration of an internal claims application to AWS, following the pre-defined architecture framework provided by the client.

Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical constraints.

Architect scalable and reliable solutions leveraging cloud-native technologies, with a focus on streaming technology (Kafka).

Hands-on development using AWS services such as EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), Lambda, and SQS (Simple Queue Service).

Implement best practices for security, reliability, and performance optimization.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and efficiency.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience as a development or engineering lead on multiple projects, preferably application migrations.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS.

Proven experience with streaming technology, preferably Kafka.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, and SQS.

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI / CD, Terraform, Ansible).
