We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team and oversee all technical operations within our organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance management, high voltage systems, and supervisory roles.
As the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our engineering processes while managing a team of engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the engineering team to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Oversee maintenance management activities, including planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance tasks.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Analyze schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct inspections of high voltage systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project initiatives and improve engineering processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent command of the English language for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with maintenance management principles and practices is essential.
- Experience working with high voltage systems is preferred but not mandatory.
