Operations Leader
Duties & Responsibilities
Operations Leaders use leadership and problem-solving skills to manage their store(s) in their geographical assigned locations of the Franchise in the food / service industry.
This position requires schedule flexibility and Colorado travel. A clean DMV record and valid driver’s license is required for this position.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain employees in their assigned area.
- Offer consultation and recommendations to store managers on overcoming operations and any other challenges.
- Manage the home stores, build a strong team, produce work schedules.
- Monitor sales and work toward meeting monthly goals and objectives.
- Minimize food cost by maintaining operational systems and inventory use. Maintain labor cost by reviewing labor schedules and productivity levels.
- Visit stores to evaluate Franchise standards and operational expectations, cleanliness, and efficiencies in all areas.
Skills & Qualifications
SUBWAY BRAND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Leadership : Strongly developed leadership skills are crucial as an Area Director.
- Communications : Area Directors may be responsible for many managers in their area and may have to manage from a distance / remotely.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in this role .
- E-mail : Etiquette and responsiveness is crucial for teamwork within the company.
- Problem-solving : It is the Area Directors responsibility to identify and overcome problems. Employment, operation or inventory challenges will require critical thinking and strategic planning.
- Mathematics : Mathematics, reporting skills, and previous knowledge of financial reports strongly encouraged.
- Industry Skills : Previous knowledge of the food / service industry and point of sale systems strongly encouraged. Understanding food cost, labor, and productivity encouraged.
Subway previous experience is highly desired.
Salary Expectations : $70-75K annually
