The Communications, Arts and Humanities Department is searching for adjunct instructors to teach several courses in Graphic Arts & Design.
Essential Functions
ART 115 / History of Graphic Design during the Fall 2024 semester on-line . Candidates must have a master's degree in the teaching disciplines (please denote relevant coursework on your resume), as well as requisite teaching skills and appropriate college level teaching experience.

ART 230 Graphic Design I for the Spring 2024 semester. This intermediate level course introduces students to the use of both traditional and digital technology as it applies to the application of the elements and principles of design.
Through a series of projects students learn to employ basic design concepts in solving different types of visual communications problems.
ART208 Computer Illustration
The Communications, Arts and Humanities Department is searching for an adjunct instructor to teach an evening section of ART208 Computer Illustration for the Spring 2024 semester.
This course introduces students to Adobe illustrator for use by graphic design students. The course is part of the AFA degree in Graphic Design and qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong emphasis on concept and visually rich content.
ART 215 Typography
The Communications, Arts and Humanities Department is searching for an adjunct instructor to teach a late afternoon section of ART215 Typography for the Spring 2024 semester.
This course introduces students to the terminology and application of type to solve design problems for graphic design students.
The course is part of the AFA degree in Graphic Design and qualified candidates must demonstrate a strong emphasis on concept and visually rich content.
Experience & Education
Instructors must hold a master’s degree in the discipline and appropriate teaching experience. The course is part of the AFA degree in Graphic Design and qualified candidates must demonstrate knowledge of basic design skills to produce visually rich content.
Official transcripts, two letters of recommendation and images of personal and student work will be required before hiring.
