About the role :

As the UX / UI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in both designing and implementing our game's user interface. You'll work closely with our UX / UI design team to conceptualize, prototype, and bring to life engaging UI elements, ensuring a seamless and immersive player experience across all platforms.

Your role will span from initial wireframing to final implementation, bridging the gap between design and development.

Key aspects of your role will include :

• UX Design : Contribute to the user experience design process, including wireframing and prototyping.
• UI Implementation : Transform design concepts and Figma designs into fully functional UI elements within Unity.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure UI elements are optimized for performance across various devices and platforms.
• Animation and Interactivity : Implement smooth animations and interactive elements to enhance the user experience.
• Collaboration : Work closely with UX / UI designers and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of UI elements into the game.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough testing of UI implementations to ensure consistency, responsiveness, and bug-free operation.

Responsibilities / Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in UI development, with a strong focus on UX design principles
• Proven experience in wireframing and creating interactive prototypes
• Strong proficiency in Unity, with a focus on UI implementation
• Excellent understanding of UI / UX principles and best practices
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
• Participate in the UX design process, including creating wireframes and interactive prototypes
• Translate design documents and concepts into functional UI layouts and flows
• Implement UI designs in Unity, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and responsiveness
• Create and maintain UI prefabs, ensuring reusability and consistency
• Optimize UI performance, paying special attention to memory usage and frame rates
• Implement UI animations and transitions to enhance the user experience
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers to refine and iterate on designs
