Job Title : tIndustrial Maintenance Technician
Scope : tReport to Plant Manager
Responsibilities :
- tResponsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of plant processing equipment and support activities including research and development.
- tEnsure plant safety.
- tOversee industrial rigging.
- tEvaluate and troubleshoot pumps, lubrication, piping systems, mechanical drives, pneumatics, industrial electricity, motor controls and process instrumentation.
- tWork with external contractors on an ongoing basis which includes electrical, mechanical, environmental and regulatory professionals.
Review and oversee needs, recommendations, quotes and or bids as it pertains to the maintenance or enhancement of all NNT production equipment and processes.
- tEnsure contractors are trained on NNT policies and procedures.
- tAssess new equipment to ensure it fits with NNT environment.
- tOversee scheduled maintenance program.
- tOversee MOC program under quality system and provide updates to management if customer quality requirements are affected.
- tMaintain boiler license.
- tMaintain wastewater license.
- tMaintain hoisting license.
- tOder and maintain PPE for production personnel and assess new PPE as needed.
- tParticipate in audits as needed.
- tFocal point for buildings and grounds questions or concerns.
- tUse software such as Excel and Word to perform job duties.
Educational Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required :
Minimum 5 years’ experience with equipment maintenance in a like environment.
Experience with power tools.
