Job Description :
The Accounting team at Frasco, Inc is searching for a Payroll Coordinator. This individual will be working directly with the Payroll Supervisor, CFO and HR Director.
The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for weekly and bi-weekly payroll file preparation, internal control maintenance and external agency reporting.
This is a full-time position based in Irvine, CA with work from home flexibility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Working with the Human Resources department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal wage and hour laws
- Ensuring accurate payment of wages, bonus, and commissions
- Creating ad-hoc reports for revenue generating centers
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
- Reconciliation of outstanding payroll items at month-end
- Updating Employee HR files
- Monitoring the Payroll Mailbox and assisting with responding to email requests
- Managing payroll related mail
- Assisting with any open projects in payroll
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned

- Associates degree in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years payroll processing experience
- Experience in payroll batch processing
- Initiative to implement Operational Best practices
- Maintain payroll information and highest levels of confidentiality
- Experience in reporting Payroll information to external agencies
- Experience working in a business setting with multiple revenue generating centers
- Ability to create ad-hoc reporting in Excel and within payroll operating software to reduce processing time
- Must have proficiency in v-lookups, pivot tables, and formatting in Excel
- Experience using ADP, Ceridian, Paychex, Paylocity, or Sage
