Job Summary
- The Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility for the ethical and cost effective management, delivery, documentation, outcomes and communication of patient care within the scope of practice of their respective disciplines
- Organizes and conducts medically necessary occupational therapy treatment programs
- Supervises occupational therapy assistants and technicians in assisting with aspects of treatments
- Works closely with other hospital staff in coordination of patient care.
- This position requires population specific competencies.
- Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy
Licensure / Certification
- Occupational Therapist graduate eligible for Oklahoma licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
Compensation
- $50 an hour flat rate
