Position : Barista
Location : Waltham, Ma.
Schedule : Mon-Thu and Fridays could be arranged
Hours : 7am-3pm
Pay Rate : $21 to $25 per hour.

Job Summary :
The Barista is responsible for assisting customers during the check-out process managing cash and credit payments as well as educating customers while selling and grinding coffee and preparing and serving a variety of items.
In addition, the Barista will be responsible for replenishing snacks and coolers and keeping the area clean.

Prior Barista experience preferred*
Essential Functions and Key Tasks :
- Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers
- Operation of point of sale system; Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Replenish snacks and stock coolers as needed
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout and coffee kiosk areas and complete other general cleaning duties
- Assist customers by providing information
- Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager
Barista Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cash handling experience
- Previous experience in food service / Barista environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team Player
- Must be dependable
