The Opportunity

Are you a self-motivated solutions consultant that wants to support innovative technology sales, while also solving crime?

Flock is looking to add a Senior Solutions Consultant to our growing law enforcement sales team. This person will play a key role in helping Flock grow by refining the sales process and removing barriers for the sales team.

Your primary customer base are Law Enforcement agencies. This position is based out of your home office with up to 50% travel required.

Preferred location is in the Pacific Northwest, New England or Florida.

Some challenges you’ll tackle

Work with the sales team to help define customer challenges, solutions, demonstrations and deployment plans.

Own effectiveness of customer deployment plans.

Contribute to meeting (or exceeding) monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

Become a product subject matter expert; develop in depth knowledge of Flock’s products.

Maintain proficiency with solutions as they evolve and compare to the competitive landscape.

Attend trade shows and visit customers in person as a trusted advisor.

Build strong relationships with Sales Reps within your territory.

Provide trade show and demonstration support for marketing events.

Effectively transition accounts to Deployment Planning and Project Management.

Act as a liaison between customers and other internal stakeholders.

The Skillset

10+ years of law enforcement experience or experience selling law enforcement technology .

3+ years in a customer facing role supporting sales activity.

Prior experience with real time crime center technology and solutions

Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory.

Comfortable with software and various hardware devices, in order to become the subject matter expert for the sales team

Strong presentation and demonstration skills, both in person and virtually.

Energized by solving customers’ problems- e.g. consultative sales approach.

Enjoy working in a fast paced, data-driven sales environment.

Experience using Flock Safety systems is a plus.

Experience with crime mapping and / or mapping tools is a plus.

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months.

This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired as a Solutions Consultant at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

You’ll complete company onboarding, begin to understand the solution and meet the rest of the Solutions Consultant team, shadowing them on customer calls.

The First 60 Days

You’ll become proficient in the tooling, deliverables and relationships that make a Solutions Consultant successful.

90 Days & Beyond

At the end of 90 days, you are flying solo and displaying all characteristics of a Solutions Consultant at Flock Safety. You’ve earned the trust of your customers, sales team and cross-functional stakeholders.

The Interview Process

We want our interview process to be a true reflection of our culture : transparent and collaborative. Throughout the interview process, your recruiter will guide you through the next steps and ensure you feel prepared every step of the way.

Our First Chat : During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are.

The Hiring Manager Interview : You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock.

This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.

The Panel : Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values.

Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.

The Executive Review : A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.

The Perks

Salary & Equity : In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $115,000 to $150,000 as well as stock options

Flexible PTO : We seriously mean it, plus 11 company holidays.
