We are currently seeking an experienced, competent office clerk to perform various administrative and clerical tasks, helping to support our offices and ensure success.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable undertaking a variety of activities in the office, including filing, answering the phone, organizing documents, basic bookkeeping, and more.
S / he will have the ability to work diligently and independently to help maintain efficient office operations. Reliability and a strong work ethic with great communication skills are a must.
Familiarity with all necessary office equipment and procedures is also required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting outside sales representatives in accomplishing their objectives.
- Using 20 / 20 software to design kitchens based on measurements provided.
- Utilizing QuickBooks to generate estimates and sales orders. Handling modification, return, and exchanged.
- Explaining the features and benefits of our kitchen cabinet products to customers.
- Contacting customers regarding their orders and resolving any issues that arise.
- Overseeing and response of incoming email.
- Excellent computer skills for word processing, spreadsheet creation, etc
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping tasks, able to issue invoices.
- Team mentality and willingness to assist in office management.
- Flexible and willing to perform various office duties, as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma required relevant degree or certification is preferred.
- Successful work experience in another clerical position.
- Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to learn.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Great organizational and multitasking abilities.
