Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the Architectural team in our Phoenix office;
- Monitor and evaluate the productivity and efficiency of your team as it relates to staff, business and financial operations;
- Work with staff on performance evaluations, developmental reviews, learning and professional development;
- Maintain a positive team environment and enable employees to reach their individual potential;
- Build staff capabilities through mentoring to improve technical and design skills;
- Maintain positive client relationships;
- Attend key client meetings and provide leadership and motivation to the design team to ensure high quality design documentation is being produced and client satisfaction is achieved;
- Manage projects by focusing on project process, service / delivery and project documentation;
- Build clients’ trust and loyalty to help develop additional business.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Architecture or a related field with 15+ years of relevant experience;
- Experience managing teams at an architectural firm;
- Flexible and able to work on multiple projects at once;
- Network and knowledge of the market in Phoenix;
- Ability to successfully mentor a diverse staff;
- Strong customer and client relationship management skills;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
