Our residents live in our 2-4 bedroom homes with staff that promote positive structure to their days.
You are a right fit for our Resident Assistant roles if you :
- Enjoy working, learning, and growing with disabled adults and aiding them in the best decision making for their lives.
- Possess a valid, active Driver's License and have reliable transportation to and from your work site.
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Are patient, fun-loving, timely, and enjoy people-based work.
Our Environments :
- 2-4 bedroom homes in residential neighborhoods.
- Our residents are ambulatory and high-functioning, requiring communication based support from our staff to provide structure to their days.
- We are NOT physical cares based.
- Our residents are adults - anywhere from age 18 to age 80!
Resident Assistant Job Duties :
- Transport residents with our company vehicle to and from work, school, or activities / programming.
- Prep, serve, and eat home cooked meals with our residents according to the recipe / meal calendar for the day.
- Light housekeeping as designated for your shift - vacuuming, dishwasher, clean bathrooms, etc., and verbally encourage and teach residents to help.
- Properly pass medications and provide a shift note recap at the close of each shift detailing each resident's status
- Promote a clean and positive atmosphere!
