What exactly is the job?
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Production Assistant to support our dynamic marketing team. This individual will collaborate closely with team members to assist in the creation and execution of marketing assets for both the firm’s marketing and recruiting efforts, as well as for our clients.
The role will primarily focus on production-level tasks, including social media management, email campaigns, and marketing collateral development.
Additionally, the Marketing Production Assistant will handle administrative tasks such as scheduling social media posts, packaging files for production, and maintaining our asset library.

Independent Financial Partners (IFP) is a broker-dealer and registered investment advisor (RIA), offering comprehensive support to financial advisors.
The IFP Design Group serves as both the firm’s in-house marketing department and a design agency for our financial professionals.
As part of this team, the Marketing Production Assistant will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including websites, brochures, social media content, and more to support our clients’ content needs.

What are the responsibilities of this position?
Design & Production Support
- Assist the graphic designer with production tasks, including updating and editing existing design work.
- Utilize Adobe (Illustrator and InDesign) templates to create graphics for social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials
- Prepare and package design files for final delivery.
- Manage and maintain a library of graphics and templates for advisors (clients) using our templating software, Marq.
Content Management
- Schedule and manage social media posts across multiple platforms for the firm and its clients.
- Collaborate with the content writer to build and schedule marketing emails in Mailchimp.
- Coordinate with financial advisors (clients) to schedule their social media posts and email campaigns.
- Generate and distribute performance reports to stakeholders, tracking the effectiveness of social media and email campaigns.
What type of experience and education are required for this position?
- Knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing, design or other related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (word, excel, ppt, etc.)
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
- Effective communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or graphic design is a plus
