Description
Seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner with RNFA Certification to work in collaboration with surgeons in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UH Cleveland Medical Center.
APP will provide care to both Adult and Pediatric Patients on the floor and in the Operating room. APP and surgery experience preferred.
T he schedule is Part Time (24 hrs / week) rotating Day / Eve, weekends and holidays.

Practice with a supervising physician (established upon hire) required.

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Qualifications
Demonstrated competence as a practitioner
Effective oral and written communication skills
A variety of technical patient care devices specific to the clinical area
Computers and selected office equipment
Experience and Knowledge :
Demonstrated leadership skills
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships
Education / Expertise :
Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.
Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT) :
NCCPA-Certified.
DEA license
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Nursing Doctorate or Master Degree in Nursing, MSN
Current RN license to practice in Ohio
Current APRN license to practice in Ohio
Professional Certifications as required by specialty
