JOB SUMMARY Performs inspections, adjustments, maintenance, installation and replacement of Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems according to manufacturer’s recommendations, departmental and GMP standards.
Provides general repairs, calibrations and maintenance of all Facilities of Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration related equipment.
Provides general facility inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Shares calibration responsibilities with Equipment Tech and vendors.
Assists Facility Sr. Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility and its systems. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : % Monitors facility Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration and Clean room systems, diagnoses malfunctions, determines corrective action and performs appropriate repairs to ensure proper operation.
Properly documents all inspections, completes all logs, and maintains all files current and up to date. 40 Performs inspections, calibrations and preventive maintenance of Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems and facility systems equipment as scheduled and in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
25 Performs calibrations on temperature monitoring and refrigeration equipment. 20 Assists in performing biomedical equipment inspections, calibrations and preventive maintenance as scheduled and in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
10 Operates and maintains building automation system as required. 5
JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education REQUIRED DESCRIPTION PREFERRED DESCRIPTION High School Diploma or GED Licenses, Certification or Other Essential Qualifications REQUIRED DESCRIPTION PREFERRED DESCRIPTION Journeyman’s HVAC License Journeyman’s HVAC License required or currently in process HVAC Certification or equivalent Required or currently in process CFC Certification Required or currently in process Valid Driver’s License Any valid state driver’s license Experience REQUIRED DESCRIPTION PREFERRED DESCRIPTION 5 years Experience in installation, maintenance and / or repair of commercial air conditioning and air handling equipment, or related field.
7 years Experience in installation, maintenance and / or repair of commercial air conditioning and air handling equipment, or related field.
4 years Experience in repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment.
