Sobey VP of Sales

That’s why Sobey Networks, a Boingo subsidiary, should be your next move. This newly-created role will lead our DAS sales team, ensuring we hit sales goals opening new business, and closing deals in the pipeline.
As VP of Sales, you’ll develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue goals for DAS & ERRCS solutions.
You will build and manage a high-performing sales team, cultivate strong relationships with key partners and clients, and play a pivotal role in expanding our market share within the DAS & ERRCS sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic sales plan for DAS & ERRCS solutions, aligned with overall company objectives.
- As a player-coach, build, motivate, and coach a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration while exceeding individual and team quotas.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers for potential and existing customers, including building owners, enterprises, and developers.
- Craft compelling sales presentations & proposals, based on your thorough understanding of the client’s pain points, and our DAS capabilities.
- Oversee the sales cycle from initial lead generation to successful deal closure, ensuring efficient and effective customer acquisition.
- Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipelines, providing regular reports and data-driven insights to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within the telecommunications or related B2B technology sales environment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving significant revenue growth in a competitive market.
- In-depth understanding of DAS & ERRCS technology, applications, and industry trends.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience effectively.
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
