Responsibilities Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a -bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health / Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.
In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for completing the following duties and tasks : Assists with the completion of interviews, evaluations and hiring of EVS staff.
Conducts new EVS staff orientation. Conducts EVS staff scheduling. Conducts inventory control and supply ordering to ensure that the EVS team has the necessary tools and supplies to perform their daily tasks.
Provides oversight to help schedule and coordinate the third-party cleaning for urgent requests from ancillary departments.
Manages the chemical inventory list for the EVS department and ensures all SDS sheets are up to date. Performs routine checks / inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure that the building is safe, clean and well maintained.

Qualifications What Does LBHH Require for this Role? Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience : 10 years of prior environmental services experience with 5 years in a supervisory setting in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting preferred.
