We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and self-motivated Mechanical Plumbing Designer with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
The successful individual will have CAD and Revit experience in the design of plumbing systems for multi-family residential, commercial offices, healthcare, and educational facilities.
In addition, the individual must be comfortable communicating and consulting with architectural, developer practices, and design-build contractors, and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team and perform the following duties :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
- Work collaboratively with experienced engineers to perform design tasks.
- Experienced with the latest release of Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and other CAD and BIM tools common to the discipline.
- Works from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and simple isometric drawings.
- Able to design layouts, details, and overall system design for typical, discipline-specific systems with oversight and mentorship.
- Able to work with numerous project teams to assist with project completion.
- Growing knowledge of codes and design and construction practices.
- Perform construction administration reviews, including but not limited to review and reply to RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field observation & reports.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Expected Salary Range : $95k - $150k Annually
