About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2403 To $2670 Job Title : Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Job Specialty : MRI Technologist Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 3x12s per week.
Saturday / Sunday 8 : 30 a.m. - 9 : 00 p.m. & Monday 2 : 00 p.m. - 2 : 30 a.m. Some call required. Guaranteed Hours : 36 Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Certified Radiology Technologist Certifications : - Basic Life Support Certification- Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT) Must-Have : - Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology Job Description : Perform imaging procedures at a technical level, adhering to safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for Magnetic Resonance procedures; provide thorough explanations and address patient questions.
- Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures including neuro, body, and extremity, following the protocols set by a Radiologist.
- Conduct venous access for all patients requiring IV contrast administration as directed by a Radiologist.- Enter necessary data into the Radiology Imaging System, IDX Imaging Suite, and Picture Archive Communication System Image Management Systems.
- Process images as necessary and identify anatomy on images.- Conduct quality control tests on equipment and report irregularities.
- Notify appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions and supply levels.- Act as a Radiology liaison, providing radiological support to physicians and referring problems to the Team Leader.
- Imaging exams and procedure tray setup require access and handling of non-controlled medications.- Work is typically performed in a clinical environment, with accountability for satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
