Maintenance Manager
HTI is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a prominent manufacturer near Little Rock, Arkansas. This onsite role includes relocation assistance and offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, dependent on experience and education.
Requirements :
- A two-year degree or equivalent coursework, with at least 8 years of experience in industrial supervision; a four-year degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering is preferred.
- Technical background essential.
- Preferred qualifications include project management experience and formal Lean manufacturing training.
- Prior experience in vendor supervision and compliance.
- Proficiency in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
- SMRP and CRL Certifications are advantageous.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Attributes : results-oriented, effective in planning and organization, technical proficiency with troubleshooting skills, ability to see the big picture.
- Willingness to work in demanding environments, including extreme heat, cold, dust, and wet conditions.
- Physical capabilities : able to walk, climb, twist, turn, grasp, lift, push, pull, reach, bend, squat, and work on platforms exceeding 100 feet.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS programs, and Production Monitoring Software. Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate leadership in prioritizing employee safety, product quality, and productivity.
- Lead maintenance resources, establishing strategies, tactics, and priorities for maintenance execution.
- Plan, develop, and implement procedures to enhance uptime and optimize Maintenance Unit Cost through efficient use of materials and assets.
- Review, monitor, and adjust Maintenance KPIs to manage safety, quality, efficiency, and financial success within the Maintenance Department.
- Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Develop team members through effective performance management, including corrective actions and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) when necessary.
- Improve reliability and performance of plant equipment, focusing on productivity gains, mean time between failures, elimination of chronic failures, and maintenance simplification.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, quality of work, and adherence to timelines and contract terms.
- Coordinate resources based on plant production schedules to ensure smooth execution of maintenance work.
- Manage all onsite maintenance contractors and their scheduled planned maintenance work orders.
- Ensure contractors comply with safety requirements, scope of work definitions, and any modifications, ensuring work meets specifications.
- Document all work performed, including vendor and contractor activities, in the computerized maintenance system.
- Conduct annual reviews and establish action plans for contractor performance in collaboration with purchasing.
- Support approved CAPEX projects by applying technical expertise and overseeing contractors. Benefits :
