Scout Pest Control is looking to expand our outside sales team!
We are market leaders in providing the highest quality pest control service in North Alabama. We are growing and want to expand our team to help us capture more customers in our area.
Sales will be performed through cold contacting homeowners to offer service; through working with builders to increase our pretreatments on new construction homes, through targeted discounts and offerings to neighborhoods and HOA's, and through referrals from current customers.
The sales rep will be expected to develop and foster relationships with home builders, business owners and managers, real estate agents, as well as other church and community leaders to help facilitate winning new clients.
Position Summary : Responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers.
Essential Job Functions :

- Excellent self starter
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Builds and sustains long-lasting relationships with key individuals (builders, real estate agents, insurance agents, business owners and community leaders.)
- Continually meets or exceeds sales targets by selling high quality pest control products to new and existing customers.
- Focuses on residential and commercial accounts and working with builders to help them choose Scout for their pre-treatments. Benefits :

Qualifications and Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven outside sales experience.
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel between sales calls.
- Must be able to traverse uneven ground
- Must be able to inspect homes and crawlspaces
