Production & Design Assistant

In this role you will bring our customer’s projects to life as you design graphics, print, and produce finished signs using the latest digital printing equipment and top of the line materials.

Previous sign production and / or graphic design experience is welcome, but not required. We will train the right candidate (seriously, we mean it!).

You will have a solid base pay rate ($17 - $20) and significant performance-based bonus opportunities. Together we can make big things happen.

• Producing signs by preparing substrates and applying vinyl or other media, mounting and / or laminating prints, and operating the laminator for over-laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products.
• Operating and maintaining printers, plotters, laminators, and other small tools and or machinery.
• Choosing the best, most efficient production method based on the customer’s needs.
• Using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products to create digital designs that are printed and / or plotted for application onto various substrates.
• Taking customer concepts and creating complete or modified designs based on drawings, instructions, or customer-sourced files.
• Proofreading designs and conducting quality assurance to ensure accuracy before printing.
• Communicating with other employees on job requirements, labor estimates, inventory, and any special needs.
• Performing site visits to obtain and relay necessary information for accurate quoting and production.
• Answering the phone if the franchisee, manager, and sales / service employees are busy assisting other customers; and assisting at the front counter as needed.

You’ll need to have :

• A high school diploma
• The ability to stand / kneel for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift 75 or more pounds.
• The ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
• General familiarity with safe operation of power equipment and general construction tools / methods.
