Client is seeking a qualified individual as a Senior Data Analyst. This individual would be responsible for legacy system data analysis to support preparation and planning for integrations and conversion to a new system.

The qualified applicant will have demonstrated analytical, facilitation, writing, client relationship skills and excellent communication skills to interact with business and technical SMEs.

Position Responsibilities :

Perform data analysis of legacy data systems using complex SQL queries and data profiling tools.

Create and maintain data models.

Develop data dictionaries based on legacy system documents, data analysis and interaction with technical

and business SMEs and other resources.

Facilitation of large group meetings and documentation of outputs.

Develop data flow diagrams specifying data exchanges between databases and external parties.

Create charts, graphs and flowcharts and specifications

Identify data quality issues using SQL queries and data profiling tool and propose remediation options.

Log data quality issues and track them.

Participate in testing activities

Create staging databases using backups of production databases.

Position Requirements :

Proficient in analyzing datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies at a detailed / individual level

and the ability to articulate the process and results related to those activities / tasks

Experience in preparing interface specification documents to outline existing data flows and interfaces

Ability to document data definitions, mappings, and transformations comprehensively

Proficient in data manipulation and transformation using SQL toolset

Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools to present findings and insights effectively

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive data-related tasks independently, in the absence of clear

guidance

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment

Aptitude for translating technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders

Strong communication skills to interact and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and

stakeholders

Bachelor s Degree and minimum 5 years experience leading data analysis projects, enterprise data

migration and conversion efforts, and data integration efforts

Demonstrated Experience using SQL Developer and SQL Modeler

Experience with IBM Information Analyzer a plus

Experience with AWS and Oracle for data archival a plus

Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft-based office applications including Teams and SharePoint.
