Who You Are

As our new Senior Financial Analyst we know you will be successful in this role because you are :

A SAGE Expert : You are confident in using SAGE Intacct software and can enable full usage of the system capabilities via report writing and dashboard assistance.

You are also excited to be our SAGE systems administrator.

  • Ready to Help Plan : You can enable financial planning and analysis related to grant funding and assist with meeting reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Supportive : You are ready to prepare and maintain financial projects as assigned, focusing on budgeting, budget compared to actual analysis, grant reports, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Collaborative : You are ready to foster cross-functional collaboration by assessing management reporting needs and customizing financial system reports and dashboards.

Your Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to implement the annual budget process.
  • Serve as a SAGE systems administrator.
  • Support rolling forecasts and apply strong data analysis skills to extract actionable insights from financial data.
  • Prepare and maintain financial projects as assigned.
  • Enable financial planning and analysis related to grant funding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAGE accounting systems strongly preferred.
  • SQL database knowledge is beneficial.
  • Prior experience with grants reporting and management is beneficial.
  • Ability to speak a language in addition to English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of finance or accounting experience.
  • Strong background in budgeting, planning and ad hoc analysis.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel.
  • High proficiency in data analytics and experience with SQL databases.
  • Prior experience with grants reporting and management.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Successful applicants must live and work in Washington State to perform this role.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
