Diesel Mechanic

Up to $40 / Hour No Weekends Direct Hire!

Location : Sioux Falls, SD

Pay : $28-40 / hours

Description :

A busy semi-truck repair shop has an immediate opening for a diesel technician. Diesel Technicians perform a range of tasks, from basic preventative maintenance to repair / replace work, along with extensive troubleshooting on all our equipment.

This will be a direct hire with the company! They are looking for experienced and entry level diesel technicians for their new state-of-the-art facility in Sioux Falls.

Hours :

Monday thru Friday 7 : 30-5 : 00pm

Responsibilities :

• Perform diagnosis, repair, and reconditions of machine systems and components
• Complete thorough documentation on all reports and forms required with work assignments
• Communicate machinery problems and resolutions to supervisor and customers
• Utilize computer programs to effectively complete assignments
• Seek and participate in appropriate training opportunities both local and off-site
• Maintain technical and product knowledge
• Identify customer service opportunities and implement solutions
• Up sell jobs during the repair process
• Present a positive and professional image of Sioux International in the presence of customers and community
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
• Other duties as assigned
