As a General Laborer at Talent Source, you will play a vital role in supporting various tasks and operations within the shipyard environment.

Responsibilities :
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment from vessels and docks.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including cleaning, painting, and sandblasting.
- Operate hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, and grinders, to support shipyard operations.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as welders, electricians, and pipefitters, with their tasks as needed.
- Help set up and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites using forklifts, cranes, and other machinery.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to promote efficiency and productivity.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in general labor or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
