SUMMARY
As a Ground Support Equipment Project Manager, you will support various programs across Firefly by executing complex infrastructure / ground equipment design and build projects with a team of technical experts, designers, and technicians.
This includes a variety of tasks including initial cost estimate & schedule generation for a project, vendor management & status updates, project status reviews with senior & corporate leadership, and technical conflict resolution with engineering and manufacturing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate material procurement from purchase request approval through delivery.
- Manage vendors and resolve supply chain issues.
- Act as liaison between Program, Engineering, Finance, etc.
- Manage small agile teams in concert to execute large, complex projects.
- Resolve technical conflicts / dependencies between design & build disciplines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 5 7 years in project management & execution.
- MS Office (including Excel, Word, Project & Outlook).
- JIRA / Confluence experience.
- Vendor Management and Contract Negotiation.
- Demonstrate strong sense of urgency and prioritization of internal issues.
- Proven experience working cross functionally and shown ability to influence and communicate across all levels.
- Strong ability to handle and effectively prioritize multiple competing priorities and requests.
- 7-10 years in project management & execution.
- Technical familiarity with the design and operation of fluid systems and data acquisition / control systems.
- Odoo ERP / MRP knowledge.
- Familiarity with Scrum & Kanban methodologies.
- Experience as an OEM, Supplier, Contractor, Sub-contractor in Aerospace or Oil & Gas.
- Experience in AS9100 environment a plus.
