Rise Vision is currently searching for a Senior UX Designer to join our Creative Team on a permanent full-time basis. This position will report to the Head, UX.

Mission of the Senior UX Designer :

As the Senior UX Designer you’re accountable for using your design skills to deliver on schedule the user experience (front end) of our software such that it provides an eloquent, visual, and functional solution that meets our style guide standards and software development principles.

To achieve this outcome you work with a team of designers, and use your excellent command of HTML / CSS to create the front end of web applications in coordination with the developers and product owners.

Furthermore, following the UX / UI design process, you can create detailed mockups and interactive prototypes demonstrating flows, interactions, and animations in both web and native mobile environments.

Where applicable you don’t shy away from utilizing words (copywriting) to improve upon the usability of our solutions.

You are a product expert on Rise Vision, understand our BrandScript and how best to position Rise Vision, and deeply understand our customer and what problems they face.

You understand our customer and our business strategies so together with the team you continuously reduce the scope of releases and incrementally deliver what matters most to our customers as quickly as possible while reducing complexity and potential defects.

You are accountable for the user experience of all Rise Vision applications including our template library and as such you proactively advocate for pitches to improve the customer journey and eliminate technical debt within your domain.

You are responsible for maintaining and improving upon our style guides, design systems, and user experience patterns.

Role Responsibilities :

• Design intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual assets for new enterprise / web-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.
• Participate in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
• Stay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
• Research and track advancements in enterprise application design patterns.
• Break any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision.
• Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the responsive enterprise application designs.
• Clearly communicate with, and provide regular updates, to stakeholders, ensuring expectations around delivery timelines are carefully managed.
• Influence product direction through innovative design-thinking and design treatment, aligning to the brand and business requirement.
• Provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications :

• You will have at least 6 years of experience in UX or Web Design roles, and be comfortable providing coaching and mentorship to other team members.
• Must have experience in Information Architecture
• A degree in UX Design, interaction, web, or graphic design.
• You have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, including conducting user research, creating personas, user journey mapping, and usability testing.
• You bring a strong portfolio showcasing your past UX design projects and highlighting your problem-solving approach, design thinking, and leadership skills.
• You’re an effective and clear communicator when collaborating with internal stakeholders, presenting design concepts, and advocating for the user's perspective.
• You’re always identifying and solving complex design challenges, and using data and insights to inform their decisions.
• You’re skilled in using prototyping and wireframing tools to create interactive mockups and test design concepts with users.
• Proficient in HTML / CSS with basic understanding of JavaScript.
