Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Includes but not limited to the following :
- Work with CFO to prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expense, and earnings.
- In charge of company financial reports in relation to policy and procedures, report timing and accuracy.
- Work with CFO to direct preparation of budgets, review budget proposals, and prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification.
- Direct the company's balance sheet accounts during the year and at audit time.
- Direct the company's tax audit with the CFO.
- Work with the division controllers on the company's book audit.
- Manage the compensation and performance evaluation process for the Accounting Department.
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees within the accounting department.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.
Requirements
Required Qualifications :
Must have a valid state motor vehicle license.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
- Five years of related experience.
- Good computer skills.
