Responsibilities :
As Senior Analog / Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of integrated circuits for a variety of markets and end applications.
Your tasks include defining chip architecture, circuit design, simulation, layout supervision, verification, product debugging and characterization, ATE to bench correlation, documentation and assisting test engineers with taking ICs to production.
Requirements :
- Mastery of analog design fundamentals : small and large signal analysis, stability, impedances, managing multiple supplies and grounds
- Solid understanding of device physics, especially as it relates to latch-up and ESD analysis
- Knowledge of mixed-signal concepts, interface between analog and digital circuit components, specifications and communication between analog and digital designs and designers
- Mixed-signal simulation experience (e.g., Cadence AMS) a plus
- 10+ years of experience with top level design : layout floor-planning, supply, ground, and critical supply routing, designing for robust reliability, latch-up, ESD performance
- Proficiency with industry standard design tools, schematic capture, simulation with SPICE and / or Spectre
- Cadence design environment experience a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly with and guide other parts of the development team : layout designers, test engineers, application engineers
- High voltage (90v) design experience.
- Proficiency with higher level modeling languages, e.g., MATLAB, Verilog-A, Python.
Compensation :
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $150,000 to $200,000 and based on a full-time schedule.
