Our client is a regional electrical contractor delivering high-performance electrical and solar projects with a focus in the agricultural markets.
They excel in electrical design-build contracting services as well as the planning, engineering, and installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar, storage, and combined heat and power (CHP) systems.
They have more than 50 years of experience serving their customers with quality workmanship.
The Commercial Solar O&M Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing PV arrays ranging from 50 kw to 1MW across Northern CA.
This is a field based role for an experienced technician with a strong electrical background and the ability to communicate with customers.
The ideal candidate will have :
- At least 2 years of electrical experience with residential or commercial PV systems
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PV and electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and test equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary Range : $25 - $35 / hr + Overtime
