Description

A Program Manager (PM) on the AWS Launch Marketing Team supports the production of the AWS News Blog the Official AWS Podcast.

Paired with that function, the PM looks for ways to showcase AWS through exceptional storytelling, focusing on the AWS Podcast and Blog channels.

The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic, with experience in content strategy / planning, execution, content performance evaluation, and copywriting.

This role involves the ability to elevate AWS stories through meticulous execution data-informed content creation.

Content Strategy : Collaborate cross functionally with stakeholders to form or update content strategies. Stay abreast of trends to incorporate them into strategic plans.

Identify and review KPI's / analytics and use data to make informed decisions for future work.

Story Development and Copywriting : Work with a diverse set of stakeholders to identify compelling content for AWS products, partners, use cases, etc.

that elevates the AWS brand, and drives traffic and engagement. Facilitate the production of informative content that educates our audience on evolving services, technological updates, and other advancements in order to inform on a better user experience.

Program Management : Work with the AWS Brand team to ensure content complies with corporate standards. Use data driven research to evaluate content performance to change or implement best channel practices.

Look for opportunities to implement production efficiencies and increase performance.

Key job responsibilities

Author and maintain documentation for high quality content and channel standards.

Develop, negotiate, and drive content strategy in alignment with all stakeholders

Use data and gather feedback to drive insights into content production and planning.

Work with other product managers, producers, writers, editors, etc. to improve and evolve how we approach content production.

About the team

The AWS Launch Marketing team produces content that raises awareness for AWS products and important stories. We produce high-quality content-marketing assets (blogs, videos, podcasts, newsletters, livestreams, etc.

that engage and are accessible to a broad external audience. We support marketing and messaging goals by providing expertise in efficient and effective content-marketing strategy, presentation, production, and promotion.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
