Job Description
Title : Data Warehouse Specialist I
Location : BOSTON, MA
Duration : 6 Months
Responsibilities :
- Logical data model adaptation using skills including Erwin, Business Analysis, Data modeling
- Reconcile logical model with data
- Model the physical data models
- Data profiling Information analyzer / Excel preferred
- Make key physical design decisions which will impact how the data is distributed in client’s environment.
- Enable Data Views via Physical / Virtual marts or via other presentation tools.
- Maintain metadata within the metadata management tool.
- Hadoop cluster configuration using Hadoop big data architecture
- Data ingestion / curation using Pig, Hive, Sqoop or other Hadoop tools
- Orchestrate data workflows
- Build security and audit controls using Hadoop ecosystem
- Performance tuning of Hadoop ecosystem
Qualifications
Preferred level of experience :
- 3+ years experience in Hadoop (including Azure HD Insight technology stack), DBA, Visualization areas.
- 5+ Years experience in Data Architecture including Big Data and Large Scale Data Warehousing.
