ARE YOU THE HEAVY-DUTY DIESEL TECHNICIAN OUR TEAM NEEDS?

Ask yourself :

Are you a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician with a passion for your craft? Do you have a strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex automotive issues?

Are you a team player with excellent communication skills? If you answered "yes" to these questions and can meet the following requirements, we need you as our Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician!

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 4+ years of experience
• Basic computer skills
• CDL preferred (not required)
• Must be knowledgeable in DOT inspections along with full knowledge / understanding in performance of pre / post-trip requirements
• Shop experience preferred
• Journeyman-level technician with Paccar engine knowledge
• Emission after-treatment system experience.
• Electrical diag and repair knowledge
• HVAC certified or equal experience

WHAT TYPE OF WORK DO YOU PROVIDE?

As a Full-Time Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician at American Motors, you'll enjoy a 3 or 4 Day Work Week (Four - 10hr days) with the opportunity for overtime.

Your typical day will involve performing maintenance / inspection on all vehicles and equipment, diagnosing and repairing larger scale issues, handling some building / facility maintenance tasks, and assisting drivers in the yard with pretrip or start-up issues.

You'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring that every truck coming out of our shop is in top-notch condition upon completing any repairs.
