Key Accountabilities :
Lab Equipment
Maintains laboratory equipment, including cleaning and basic maintenance, and notifies the Faculty Director of Immersive Learning of any changes.
Setting up and breaking down of skills lab activities and skills lab check offs
Advisory
Not allowed to validate RN level skills but may direct students to use their Skills Stacks.
Works closely with the Skills Lab Team and the Faculty Director of Immersive Learning to provide quality assistance to the students serviced in the Lab.
Inventory Control
Maintains stock levels to meet maintenance needs.
Makes recommendations for the purchase of supplies and materials required for skills-based sessions.
Quality Assurance
Maintains inventory, skills lab task trainers and other equipment to the highest standards and procedures.
Actively promotes the standards and policies of the Lab.
In view of the evolving needs and opportunities, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.
Requirements :
Applicants must be nursing students within the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
