Data Security company in Central Ohio seeking experienced Senior Business Development Professional with proven track record of sales success in the technology marketplace.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for identifying and closing sales contracts and delivering revenue, have responsibility and accountability for the performance of sales pipeline and prospects.
This includes lead identification, qualification, analysis, CRM management, development, proposal, closing, and post-closing activities.
The right candidate will be expected to articulate, sell, and vigorously and intelligently represent the Company's core value propositions.
Total comp plan can be in the mid-$200K / year range if / when goals are met. We are a Drug-Free environment.
Responsibilities Include
- All sales activities to be consistent with sales, process, procedure, and documentation policies.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of technology and marketplace developments - Meet with current accounts and potential business opportunities.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities and potential to ensure quota attainment.
- Identify and develop relationships with decision-makers and champions at potential customers.
- Coordinate complex sales cycles and decision-making processes including preparation of winning proposals for potential customers.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management in a timely and consistent manner through company CRM.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in sales).
- Experience in a services sales environment.
- Familiarity with data centers and infrastructure.
- Knowledge and experience in HubSpot.
- A proven and accelerating track record of success in sales, including consistently exceeding all objectives and quotas - with recent relevant wins.
- A proven ability to manage customers during the sales process.
- A passion for sales as a profession, and a demonstrated appetite for constant personal improvement.
- Self-driven, self-motivated, resourceful and results-oriented yet coachable.
- Strong skills at every step in the sales process (lead identification, qualification, prospect analysis).
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
